Hello it is I, SpiderQueen

For this submission to Jackie_Codes Game Jam #2:

I made the sprites using Aseprite,

I made the music using FLStudio,

I put it together and programmed it in Godot Engine

This one was pretty fun, I'm enjoying putting together soundtracks in FLStudio a whole lot.

I hope it is a fun experience even if it is janky as heck, I designed it to be janky because I thought knocking things away from a black hole hastily in space would be a funny and fun idea.

The turning is indeed a bit loose - that, tied with the extreme speed of the boost, means the mechanics are mostly around using the movement fluidly, catching the junk is a secondary thought.

I love the premise and worldbuilding, but would either make the debris a bit slower or the gamespace a bit larger - it's also odd as a player that junk can be thrown out of gamespace but the player loops around - just my two cents!

Very nice game, one thing i would consider changing is the ship turning, it feels odd. But otherwise great game! Love the idea.
